This is to inform the general public that application into our various programmes for 2025/2026 session has now commenced. Use the form on this page to start your application.

This section of the website allows prospective students apply for admission into any of the courses offered by Ninwene College of Health Technology, Gidan-zakara, Karu LGA, Nasarawa State. For a list of all our courses and their respective see ENTRY REQUIREMENTS BELOW:

  • Community Health Extension workers (CHEW)
  • Community Health runs both diploma and certificate programmes in community health. CHEW Programme is a 3 years (6 semesters) programme that leads to the award of a diploma in Community Health Extension Work (CHEW) with the entry qualification of Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes obtained from SSCE/GCE WAEC or NECO at not more than two These must be chosen from the following:

    • Biology/Health Science which must be a Credit pass
    • Any one credit pass chosen from Chemistry , Food & Nutrition, Physics and Geography.
    • Any two credits passes chosen from Account, Agricultural Science, Commence and Economics
    • Two compulsory credit passes in English Language and Mathematics OR
    • The CHEW diploma can also be obtained from advancement of qualified JCEW certificate applicants have acquired two years post-qualification experience, with valid practice license in addition to the aforementioned basic requirements. By this method of admission, it is a 2 years (4 semesters) course. JCHEW Programme is a 2 years (4 semesters) Certificate programme with the entry qualification of five (5) ‘O’ level Passes which must include English, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science in SSCE or GCE WAEC or NECO at not more than two sittings
  • Department of Medical Laboratory Science
  • Medical Laboratory Technician(MLT) Programme is a 3 years (6 semesters) course with an entry qualification of Five (5) ‘O’ level Credit passes in Mathematics, English, Chemistry , Biology and Physics obtained from SSCE WAEC or NECO at not more than two sittings within a space of 5 years. Or admitted candidates must be Holders of Medical Lab Assistants’ certificate who in addition to the requirement above, have acquired two years post-qualification experience.

Step 2: Complete your O'Level result entry, to confirm your eligibity for the programme of your choice

Step 3: Make payment for your application online using your ATM Card or bank Deposit through the REMITA Platform. .

Note: You will be required to have a valid mobile number and email address in order to apply for any of our courses. After successful payment, come back to this page and login with your APPLICATION NO or PHONE NUMBER to complete the steps enumerated below. Note: If you made you payment through bank deposit you will need to wait for one(1) hour in order for your payment to be confirmed

Step 4: Complete your Biodata form

Step 5: Upload the required Documents. The Following Documents will be required

  • Passport Photograph (Compulsory)
  • Birth Certificate (Compulsory)
  • O'Level Results i.e WAEC/NECO/NABTEB (Compulsory)
  • Indigene Certificate (Optional)
  • FSLC (Optional)
  • Secondary School Testimonial (Optional)
  • Other Relevant Document

Step 6: Review all the information you entered and correct any possible error(s). Upon satisfactory review of the informatin click on submit application to conclude your application. Print out the slip at the end of the registation to serve as evidence of application.
